2 Years of Bookwyrms!

Last week my webcomic Bookwyrms celebrated two years of regular updates! Most of my drawing time and energy have gone to this project during the last three years, but seeing it materialising step by step has been very rewarding so far. And next year is looking promising! If all goes well I'll print its first volume and I might even have a first draft of its video game companion, The Mythology Room. We'll see how it all goes! ^^

8th March 2017 Update - I'm closing commissions for some time now that I got a lot of them! Thank you all very much!

Hi all! I need characters to draw, so let me know if you'd like to commission me! : )
Below you can see a basic guide of available commissions types, but feel free to contact me for any other idea you may have! I can definitely do icons or banners as well, for example. I have limited time to work on commissions every week, so I may close them at times!
- If you'd like to commission me send me a note here at dA or email me at lorena@lorena-garcia.net
- You can pay me via Paypal, 50% upfront and 50% after finished job.
PS. Yes, my handwriting is messy and not so pretty.

Hi all, I haven't been around much for the last 8? years, (wow) but this is a proper attempt to resurrect this place. For the last year or two I've increased significantly the amount of art I've been doing, so I think this is a good time to freshen up my dA, update my name here and add new stuff.
I won't be deleting all my old work, (no matter how embarrassing it is!) because I feel very encouraged when I see other artists' old work and how it improves over time. I might actually post some concept art I've done for Bookwyrms, my webcomic, during the last two years.
Anyways, thank you all for remaining here and for reading this!
What's my webcomic Bookwyrms about?
It's Harry Potter meets Fahrenheit 451.
Wait, what's it really about?
Bookwyrms is a story about friendship, mystery and books.
I won't be deleting all my old work, (no matter how embarrassing it is!) because I feel very encouraged when I see other artists' old work and how it improves over time. I might actually post some concept art I've done for Bookwyrms, my webcomic, during the last two years.

Wait, what's it really about?
Bookwyrms is a story about friendship, mystery and books.
The story follows a group of librarians while they investigate the source of the concealed censourship spreading in their country: a secret that would change their world forever.
There will be adventure as the plot deepens and our heroes need to travel around the country, a subtle supernatural component, and a ‘coming of age’ element for the youngest half of the cast.
